1. The Ghost of Christmas Past
a. Something important you have always held onto A memory, a defining moment, a learning experience.
b. Something just as important you may be forgetting about.
2. The Ghost of Christmas Present
a. Virtue: Something important you may be missing or not seeing clearly, like a gift or a blessing.
b. Vice: Something that you can improve on or remove from your life that isn't serving your best interests.
3. The Ghost of Christmases Yet to Come
a. The outlook if you remain on your current path.
b. The outlook if you move forward with renewed awareness.
My Reading
0. My personal holiday specter- Strength reversed. The part of myself that is emotionally depleted but keeps trying to take care of others and repress what I need.
1a. 8 of Cups. Can’t hold onto something you’ve left behind. There are very few things left that I cling to. Trying to move forward.
1b. 5 of Cups. There is certainly something left I’m not seeing, but because I am focused on what’s lost I can’t see it yet.
2a. The Hierophant. Structure and established traditions are something I can cling to right now.
2b. The Devil. I don’t think this could be more literal or less clear. I have unhealthy attachments to address.
3a. Page of Wands Reversed. I will continue to have untapped potential and stagnated inner power…
3b. 2 of Wands Reversed. …or unattainable goals and lack of motivation.
Overall not super good or clear, haha…I’m using the Winter Waite, which is not a regular deck of mine, so that could be why. It did seem to respond accurately to the questions, it just wasn’t very helpful or insightful. Anyway…
